This Wellington duo fronted by captivating songstress Kirsten Te Rito and keys extraordinaire Mr. Illingworth, has been quietly simmering away for almost two years now. Their infectious sing-a-long melodies are sprinkled with obvious Soul/R&B ingredients and just the right amount of pop for good measure. They are well supported by a vast contingency of friends, who also happen to be some of the capitals most well known musical names. Joining them is guitarist and MC, Tyna, Darren Mathiassen, drummer to Hollie Smith and Rhombus, Rick Cranson of The Little Bushman, Warren Maxwell and Age Pryor with many more featuring on their upcoming album. With the recent release of their first single and video clip Walking Away, BEBE DELUXE are now planning a North Island tour during January/February 2011 to coincide with the release of their next single.
